Birthday Memoriam for Barrie Leonard William WAITE

Dad,

Words will never express how much you meant to me! I miss you every single day, our debates and often differences of opinions, but I always respected you.

I am sure I gave you many sleepless nights dad because I was headstrong and knew what I wanted to do. Remember 1975 when you all moved to Wales and I stayed in the West Midlands to finish my education. I love you with all my heart and cherish my memories.

You would always go above and beyond for your family. I am so proud you was my father.

Thinking about you today, as every day, Barrie. It would have been your 90th birthday. If you had been well enough, you would have been dancing in the Athletic club! I drank a toast to you today at the Miskin Arms.

Happy heavenly 1st birthday. I can’t believe a year ago today we were sat enjoying a slice of lemon drizzle cake together. I would do anything for 1 more phone call with you to put the worlds to rights and get your exceptional wisdom. I’d be telling you all the good things that are happening for me right now, talking at lengths about my new dog grooming course. I hope I’m making you proud up there.
